About our friend Dave Scott
Dave Scott was our friend and an active and popular club member until his death at home in 2003.
Dave always had a smile on his face and he made time for everyone. He loved diving and shared his enthusiasm with beginner and experienced divers alike.
The club decided as a perpetual reminder of Daves infectious enthusiasm, that we would introduce an annual award in his name.
The Dave Scott Memorial Trophy is presented each year to a club member in recognition of achievement in the club.
This wide brief includes things such as most improved diver, biggest contribution to the running of our club, member who brings the biggest smile or person who makes our club more fun.
In fact, the trophy is given to the person who we feel has in some way, improved our club or the way we feel as friends and divers.
